C.Alice at the Peace River Ski Chalet!
Posted May 18, 2013
Hey all you classic rock fans out there! Happy May long weekend, first of all! Hope your weekend involves a barbecue, a beer (or two), and lots of friends and family. Oh, and no snow! This IS northern Alberta after all... ;)
So, next Saturday night (May 25th), where you want to be is at the Ski Chalet in Peace River. Y'see, C.Alice will be entertaining the crowd at the Peace River Pioneers football fundraiser. There will be cocktails, dinner, and best of all, hard rockin' classic tunes all night!
The Pioneers are raising funds to travel to California to play some football at a whole new level - cool! Come out and support your local high school football team, and while you're at it you can have a nice meal, and ROCK HARD!
Don't forget, this will be the inaugural voyage for the all-new amazing 5-member C.Alice band! You don't want to miss the sweet, sweet stylings of Brent Clair on guitar, not to mention the smokin' riffs, rolls and runs from Dano, Ron, Dave and Rob.
If you need tickets (and trust us, you NEED tickets, lol), call Shelly Shannon 780-274-0068 or Vanessa Tunke 780-618-6822.
See you there!!!

And the venue - if you haven't been to the new Multiplex in Grimshaw, get your butt over there and check it out! C.Alice gives it an official endorsement as party central for Grimshaw!

Well folks, change is the only thing that stays the same. We are sad to announce that our brother, Stephen Kos has had to take leave from the band. Real jobs get in the way, and Steve takes his chosen career as a teacher and the responsibility of educating all of our kids too seriously to let a part time band get in the way. We love our good friend, Steve, and respect the hard choices that sometimes have to be made. Take care buddy, we wish you well.
We are now pleased to announce that Dave Long, out of Fairview, Alberta will be rocking hard with C.Alice. Welcome Dave!!! (Meet Dave on our About Us page). Look for some amazing new tunes from your favorite local classic rock band, and a whole new dimension of awesome, as Dave comes in on keys and piano - a brand new sound for C.Alice! To paraphrase Dave: "what's a classic rock band without keys?!" - lol, he may be on to something! For a teaser, let me drop a few names; expect to hear tunes from artists such as: Toto, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Harlequin, Loverboy and others!
We're not quite done yet - stay tuned for another announcement soon!
So long summer, welcome back Classic ROCK!

Spur Reunion ROCKED!
Posted May 10, 2012
So on April 28th C.Alice took the stage for an epic gig. The reunion crowd from the old Silver Spur Saloon was in a partying mood, and the band was happy to oblige! New tunes such as Fat Bottomed Girls (Queen), Everybody Wants You (Billy Squire) , and the band's own flavour of AC/DC medley went over GREAT, along with the plethora of other new tunes! Sherry Crawford of No Limitz joined the boys to take on the Styx classic "Too Much Time on My Hands", which was brilliant! (Sherry rocks!) And later the band was joined by Ted Sisson playing some sweet, sweet blues harp over ZZ Top's "Tush". It was an amazing time! Many beverages were partaken of, but sadly, not a single pair of underwear hit the stage - the band might have to up the ante here... (lol)
If you didn't take in the party, we missed you! Though come to think of it, there wouldn't have been room ;)
Thanks to all who came out to support your local music scene, your local venue, your friends from the Spur - and most of all - C.Alice!!!
Rock on Peace River - see you at PeaceFest, if not before!

You've seen C.Alice in the past, so what's the point, you think to yourself? Sure, they ROCK HARD, but you've been there, done that.
Well, I'm here to tell you that in the unyielding pursuit of the ultimate rock experience, C.Alice has left no stone unturned looking for those perfect classics and those unbelievably amazing new tunes. Not only that, they've been in the woodshed all winter, improving chops and perfecting harmonies. They've also been working on synchronized dance moves, building human pyramids and out purchasing matching frilly shirts.*
If you have not yet had the pleasure of taking in a C.Alice show, rest assured - if you like rock music, you WILL have a great time. In addition to the new stuff, we've shaken out the dust, scraped off the mold and polished up the great tunes we have always done. Come see us at the Spur Reunion in April, or at the amazing PeaceFest in July - check out the Gigs Page for details - or book us for your own event! And remember - if you throw underwear on stage, the band will buy you a drink.**
We love to have fun - come out and join us, enjoy some new tunes and ROCK HARD! :)
*C.Alice does not actually have any particular dance moves, or build pyramids or wear matching frilly shirts - though you may imagine them this way if you wish.
**Actual drink may be water or whatever the bar happens to be offering for free.

The great PeaceFest festival in Peace River returns for 2012 in July. With killer headliners, 2012 promises to be a fantastic year for PeaceFest. Of course, C.Alice kicking off the Saturday night show on the main stage can't hurt! ;)
This is the little festival that could - beginning humbly in 1997 and growing each year since. Check out the festival website for more info here. Tickets are available at Music City Book World in Peace River or at Kit Business Equipment in High Level.
Come down for both nights, enjoy the weekend, and don't miss C.Alice at 7PM on the main stage, Saturday night, July 14th! Gates open at 5:30PM.
Silver Spur Saloon Reunion!
Posted January 16, 2012
Once a fixture in the town of Peace River, and a great venue for live music, the Silver Spur Saloon has been no more for some years. Those of us "seasoned" enough to remember, remember it fondly. Come join C.Alice for a one night tribute and toast to "the Spur" and socializing with former owners, employees and patrons!
Saturday April 28th at the Belle Petroleum Center in Peace River. Beef on a bun supper, followed by fun activities. C.Alice hits the stage afterwards! Rock Hard!

C.Alice would like to thank BJ'S Q Club and Grande Prairie for a night of PURE AWESOMENESS!!! (Apologies to Jack Black, lol).
Friday night was an amazing time - the room sounded great, we were treated like rock stars and the crowd was phenomenal! BJ's own star soundman Steve joined the band for The Boys Are Back in Town and rocked the house on vocals - too cool! There was standing room only, and it didn't look like there was room for even one more person on the dance floor at times.
If you didn't make it out, we're sorry we missed you - see you next time Grande Prairie, you sure know how to party. We loved it!
Come Join us at BJ's Q Club in GP!
Posted August 31, 2011
C.Alice is booked for one night only at BJ's Q Club in Grande Prairie - come hang out and rock the night away with the band! This is a room where many of Canada's great rockers have played; Harlequin, Headpins, the Trews and (of course) Trooper, among others. Ambience, great food and drinks, rockin' tunes - all in a room with some great history - why would you miss it?! ;)
Friday October 7th - see you there!
